Hi, I'm Elizabeth 🌙

Who I Am

I'm a fullstack developer who loves Laravel way too much, and someone who doesn't really fit into any single box – and honestly? I'm okay with that.

My journey to becoming myself has been... complicated. I came out years ago, retreated, tried to convince myself I was fine, but I always felt like something was off. So I decided to re-explore that path, and now I'm embracing who I truly am. It's been a rollercoaster, but every twist and turn has led me to a more authentic version of myself.

The Vibe

I'm a black metal enthusiast who decided the whole scene was too dark, so I became a splash of color instead. The contrast just works for me – heavy music, soft aesthetics. Chaos and calm.

Music-wise, I'm all over the place: Black metal, pagan metal, folk metal, all the -cores (metalcore, hardcore punk), industrial, EBM, German punk, and a bit of German rap. If it's heavy or weird, I probably like it.

I'm also a night owl who wishes work started at 20:00. Fueled by Monster Energy (the green one is the best, don't @ me). And yes, I'm that person who brings up the Aragorn broken toe scene whenever LOTR comes up.

Gaming

Gaming has always been my escape, and League of Legends has been my main game for years now. I'm a support main through and through – specifically Sona and Rell.

There's something about support that just clicks with me. Maybe it's the fact that I get to enable my team, set up plays, and keep everyone alive (when they don't int, anyway). Plus, I love the strategic depth of the role – knowing when to engage, when to peel, and how to position myself to maximize my impact.

The support main thing isn't new, though. Back when I played Overwatch, I was maining Mercy, Lucio, and Brigitte. There's a pattern here – I like keeping my team alive and making plays happen. Then OW2 came out, killed 6v6, and I haven't been back since. RIP to the better version of that game.

I genuinely like the competitive aspect of both games, played Overwatch in a team setting for a while, and recently also joined a League of Legends team to get back into some organized play.

When I'm not grinding ranked, I love single-player story-driven games: Horizon Zero Dawn (Aloy is goals, honestly), Fallout 4 – though less for the settlement building and more for wandering the wasteland with a female character, getting completely lost in the atmosphere and wishing I was her. Egg moment? Egg moment. And yes – Farming Simulator. Don't judge me. There's something deeply satisfying about optimizing crop rotations and buying progressively larger tractors.

How I Got Here

My coding journey started during a dual study program. I hated most of it, honestly. But during the practical part, I had to build an HTML page with a JavaScript game – a flying rocket. I never finished the game, but watching HTML turn into something visual in a browser? That was magic. I wanted more of that feeling.

Now I'm finishing my apprenticeship and I'll be a certified Software Developer in May 2026. Then? Who knows. Probably building something cool with Laravel, abandoning it halfway, and starting something else. It's the ADHD way.

🎪 Random Fun Facts

→ I used to ride unicycles. Some with seat heights of 2.6 meters. Yes, I fell. A lot.
→ I could ride a bike with the front wheel in the air, basically standing on the back wheel. Physics is weird.
→ I once started a project called "Chimera" – a Laravel CMS. It was going great until it wasn't. RIP.

Let's Connect

I'm currently looking for opportunities starting in June 2026. If you're looking for someone who brings a unique perspective, writes clean code, and isn't afraid to be herself – let's talk!

Preferably: 4-day work weeks, remote-friendly, and a place where I don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not.
